Simplified lesson on ' Weathering & Erosion' for primary grade kids. Weathering is the process where rocks are worn away or broken down into smaller pieces by wind ,water or plants etc.Erosion happens when these broken rocks and sediments are picked up & moved to another place by ice, water or wind. Water erosion and Wind erosion are two major types of erosion. Also erosion and weathering reasons can be divided into chemical and physical weathering. Children can learn differences in weathering vs. erosion and there are few suggested activities also in this tutorial.
