Skeletal System and Bones

Every person has a structure made up of bones. Your shape id because of these bones and these also protect your internal organs. For example, the skull protects the brain and the rib cage protects our heart and lungs. These bones form the skeletal system of your body. An adult human body has 206 bones.

You would be surprised to know that a baby is born with 300 bones, A baby's body has about 300 bones, they join together to form the 206 bones that an adult has. These bones are held in place at joints by muscles and also tissues called ligaments.

But the skeletal system includes more than just bones. It also has tendons, ligaments, and cartilage. Tendons attach our bones to muscles so we can move around and ligaments attach bones to other bones.

This video tells a story of two little kids. They are students and they come across a human skeleton lying on the road. First, they get shocked and scared but later they get to know about the functioning of bones and skeletal system with the help of this skeleton.
